Coverband is an artist-run project space located in Sanford, FL (just north of Orlando). We offer artists working in any medium the opportunity to exhibit new and experimental work in a low-stakes, supportive environment. Exhibitions are open for only a single afternoon or evening as determined by the artist. You can find dates and times on the schedule found on our home page.  

The season of exhibitions running between September, 2026 and May, 2027 will also conincide with the creation of a collaborative Coverband zine. Artists who are interested in collaborating with either the space or zine can reach out via the links on our contact page.

The project space is located in the bottom story of a mother-in-law dwelling situated behind the main house. You can reach it by walking down alleyways connecting with either 19th St. or Oak Ave. (as seen in the adjacent map). 

Street parking is available on either 19th Street or Oak Ave. 

Coverband is funded in part by United Arts of Central Florida, your local agency for the arts. 

This generous support covers exhibitions starting in September of 2026 and culminate in a final exhibition in May of 2027 where we will be showcasing our first edition of the collaborative Coverband zine.
